Antes i awor: visiting evenings then and now

Who takes care of this: The family

Draft text. The final content will be supplied or checked by labaman.com.

In the past the whole neighbourhood came by every evening, and neighbours and family took care of food, drinks and chairs together.

Today families live further apart, people work during the day and there is less time. Many customs quietly disappear as a result.

We put then and now side by side here, so every family can choose what it wants to keep.

Traditions differ from family to family, church to church and neighbourhood to neighbourhood. So we prefer to write “in many families it goes like this” rather than “this is how it should be”.
