The laba man: meaning and how to organise it
Who takes care of this: Labaman

Laba man means “washing hands”. Traditionally, after the funeral people go to the home of the deceased to wash their hands, as a closing ritual.
Because it is a lot of work, many families skip it nowadays.
We provide the laba man with a mobile setup at or near the cemetery.
Traditions differ from family to family, church to church and neighbourhood to neighbourhood. So we prefer to write “in many families it goes like this” rather than “this is how it should be”.
